In the modern world, polygamy is a very common phenomenon. And although it captured the fairer sex, leading position in this matter remains for the male population. It is considered that a man's fidelity depends on the behaviour of women in the family. Every attempt to "go left" is due to "bad" behavior of the wife or sexual frustration in family relations. But experts from the London school of Economics disproved this stereotype. They conducted a study that established a link between the intellectual level of man and his propensity to change. It turned out that clever men are much less likely to change their spouse. What is the reason of such regularity? British scientists claim that the man with a high level of intelligence will not make a mistress on the side, because in social terms, monogamy is the most profitable and safest option relations between partners.
